Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Baker position.
In this role, you will be responsible for baking and preparing various desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Main duties include following recipes to create breads, cakes, confections, and other baked goods, as well as developing new and unique recipes to feature on the menu and keeping stock of items used for baking. May assist in other production areas as needed.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of four years’ baking experience in a full-service restaurant, bakery, catering, country club/hotel, healthcare, or cruise line environment
Baking/pastry certifications are preferred (or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period)
